Unpacking My Library
Named after the homonymous essay by Walter Benjamin, the exhibition employs the notion of “library” as a metaphor of a space for the accumulation, classification and organization of knowledge. The exhibition explores artistic practices around the collection and classification of knowledge and sharing information systems, memory, activation, history revisitation. The exhibition presents 12 artists from the collection, the archive and the library of the National Museum of Contemporary Art in parallel with new artworks.
