The Byzantine and Christian Museum celebrates Books
Sunday Creative Labs for children (6-7 years old)
Codices and early printings from the Museum permanent exhibition will be a source of learning and knowledge of the different types of books, writing materials and tools, books’ decoration and contents. Participants, at the end, will write their name initials as initial capitals of codices.
Older children (ages 8-10) will discover the secrets of book binding and will create their own little book at the Paper, Parchment and Print Restoration Laboratory of the Museum.
