Athens through the eyes of writer & academic Tasos Athanasiades

Thanasis Yohalas leads a walk in the footsteps of writer & academic Tasos Athanasiades accompanied by his wife, Maria Athanasiades, using the book “Athens. Tracing the city through history and literature” as a reference  [Thanassis Yohalas & Tonia Kafetzaki, Hestia, 2012]. The itinerary takes in Panepistimiou (Cafe Inomena Voustassia, Makri School, Academy of Athens, Numismatic Museum) & Stadiou (Hestia Bookstore &  Cafe “Aitoloakarnania” Litou Pharmacy, Kolokotroni Square, “Kentrikon” theater) and the Streets of Skoufa & ippokratous (Cafe “Korais”).

Place:  Starting point at the junction of Panepistimiou and Themistocleous streets.The journey ends at the bookstore of Hestia (Didotou & Delphon) with a discussion with Thanasis Yohalas and Maria Athanasiadis.
